Researchers worry that explosion of gull population may threaten restoration of South S.F. Bay marshes

Organizers of a large-scale project to restore salt marshes in the South San Francisco Bay are worried that a dramatic explosion of gulls in the area could hamper efforts to return of rare and imperiled shorebirds to the area.
