Back when Audubon California was part of a coalition of groups fighting the Orange County toll road, perhaps no member of that coalition was more effective than the surf community. Now here are the surfers fighting down new septic tanks in Malibu. It would be great if we could find ways to work with the surf community more on issues that are important to us … like perhaps the Western Snowy Plover.
