If you’ve ever been to Audubon California’s Facebook page, you know that photography is a great way to connect with birds and nature. We know you love taking pictures of birds, so we’ve struck a deal with Samy’s Camera – which offers great photography classes for beginners and pros alike – to give Southern California people a 10 percent discount on bird and nature classes. Moreover, 10 percent of the revenue from the class will be donated to Audubon California. All you have to do is use the discount code GONE2BIRDS when registering for eligible classes. More info at Samy’s website. (photo by Ed Sweeney)
The photography series will begin with “Photographing Birds In Their Natural Habitat” led by UCLA professor Hartmut S. Walter and co taught by Photographer Frank Schlegel on Thursday July 7th 7-9pm for classroom instruction and on Saturday July 9th from 9AM-12PM for an excursion shoot at the Malibu Lagoon.
