Rice farmer discovers a leucistic Burrowing Owl in his field

Don Bransford is one of several rice farmers that Audubon California is working with to improve habitat for migratory birds. But recently, Bransford noticed a different kind of bird on his property that he couldn’t identify. It turned out to be a leucistic Burrowing Owl. Check out his story, and his photos.
