Falcon attacks mailman

July 31st, 2012 · by Daniela Ogden

We’re used to the story of the mailman and dog, but this Texan mailman has found out that a family of falcons that live along his mail route are no fans of his standard issue sun hat. The bright white causes the birds to dive-bomb him, so much so that he now switches his hat (a necessity for working under the bright Texas sun) to another that doesn’t cause a reaction. Thank you Ron the mailman!

I don’t know of many tree nesting falcons (but maybe that’s just me). Perhaps a Kite?

What wonderful people to care enough to do this. I hope it is a nest of Peregrine Falcons, my favorite and most loved raptor
