Lead claims another Bald Eagle

Sad news today out of Tehama County where a Bald Eagle found with lead poisoning last month has died. The Record Searchlight newspaper has been covering the story since the listless bird was found in creek bed and taken to the California Raptor Center at the University of California at Davis. The newspaper shot some video of the bird while it was still alive in rehabilitation:
